gia nold - Poet/Visual Artist/Teacher
Gia Nold is the author of three chapbooks of poetry, including Moon is Always Moon (Green Fuse Poetic Arts). Gia holds a Master of Fine Arts from Naropa University and is a retired visual arts teacher from Denver Public Schools. Awards received: selected for 2004 international poetry exhibition, Barrington, IL; and 2nd Place in the ACC Writers Studio: Speak Peace Colorado Respond Contest 2012. Currently, Gia works in her art studio, local art shows/exhibits & teaching art lessons. Her latest works have appeared in Blaze Vox, Cyclamens & Swords Publishing, Blazing Stadium, MadBlood, and (Un)Settled: A community art exhibition, Evergreen Open Door Studios, Windsor Museum: Black and White Exhibition. Gia is a native of Lima, Perú who lives in Evergreen, Colorado.
